Human editors at Wandering Sage select, direct, review and prepare each work for publication. We identify these books as AI-created and explain their origins in a Creation Statement.
A FICTION LABORATORY
Here, AI can originate and develop substantially more of the story: the premise, characters, setting, structure and prose. Wandering Sage chooses projects, gives direction, reviews and edits the manuscript, and oversees quality and production. Human curation is a real responsibility, not a claim that a person wrote the text.
LABELING AND CREDIT
We disclose AI-created origins on the book page and inside the book. The Creation Statement identifies the respective roles of AI and Wandering Sage. If a fictional creative identity or AI persona is used, it will be identified as such and never represented as a real person.
LITERARY JUDGMENT
Experimental does not mean unedited. We select and prepare work that meets our publishing standards. Traditional human-authored books continue as a distinct and important Wandering Sage program.
